Hello again,

This is a more serious song; in fact, I can see the feeling conveyed in here as sadness (possible), for some a "clouded", dark kind of sadness... there have been some emotional points in my lifetime that this song reminds me of them, and the anguish takes sometimes. Like the title says, "cloudformer" when the dark clouds form, there isn't much you can do about it other than survive. The message you've conveyed through this song is powerful, without you even realizing it : ]

Although, I have to say, it could go either way. If you made the song with the intention of making us see darkened sky, you're accomplished this as well. A good example I can think of right now is a scene from a "storm movie", like Take Shelter. I think your music could be good for ending and finale scenes. Now, if only some of your songs were longer... just think about it : )

At the rate you're going, you're going to make us all very emotional! Thanks for another interesting submission.....

Elegancia responds:

Hi again :)
Oh yeah, finally someone understood the message :p
You are totally right with that - that was exactly the message and the feeling i wanted to create while one is listening to this song.
I'm very grateful for your review and it means so much to me.
Thank you very much.

I love this song, and all of the different parts. The part at 1:51 completely surprised me, and I think it's also the best part because of it, like the grand finale. Great work, my friend. This is on my top 3 metal songs of newgrounds, congrats and good luck to you!

OrphenFire responds:

Did you mean 2:51? 1:51 was just the second "verse", whereas 2:51 was where the "bridge" started, shifting the focus of the music from the guitar to the piano for a moment, then the guitar solo comes in and dominates. Anyway, I'm really glad you liked the song (:

Easiest way to describe? Something with a happy ending (game or movie). It would also go well with a music video in memory of a special person, or just a congratulatory one. The guitar sets the mood, and the drums keeps it going. It excells in being highly individual; not something you hear everyday. I think a lot of people would listen to this; Bravo!

And I hope you get A LOT more reviews. I think you need some them!

Elegancia responds:

Thanks again DeForestB!
I feel pretty honored from your words!
I don't know if it would fit in a Game or something like that, but maybe as a 'Goodbye-Scene' or anything. I leave that decision to the animators and movie makers ;)

Thanks for your review!!

I love the synth in the background. Sometimes I'll play this songs 3 or more times in a row, often playing it loud while at stop lights. And it's mild enough where even people who don't like metal might hear this song and start head-banging to it... maybe even if they did just a little ; ] This song makes you want to run straight into the source of life, victory within grasp... sounds like downright giberish how I explained it, but it's a happy feeling, nevertheless. Thank you for this marvellous song.

Elegancia responds:

Yeah i think Symphonic Metal is not for Metal-heads only. Even my Mom's listening to my stuff and she usually don't like Metal. Good sign :))
The feelings you've described here are just right. But here you have to thank DenX cause he did the full Orchestration for this song. He's pretty badass at Symphonic Metal and i'm glad he helped me with that :))

And i have to thank you for listening and commenting :)

Creatures... when I heard this song, I realized what my favorite newgrounds audio creation was (and I have hundreds of them).. not only that, but it's now one of my personal favorite metal songs I've ever heard. It's inspiring, peaceful; it makes me wonder where you got your inspiration from for this song. Well done for this master art-full creation, and congrats on your future with metal!!!!

Elegancia responds:

Thanks :)
Well i can't tell you where i got those inspirations for that song. I think i just felt like playing this.
As i wrote the tabs for that song, it was first planned to sound different from this version.
After some refining and polishing, it was finally done. The result is this song, 'Creatures'. ;)

Thanks for your review

Awesome... for a house song

I don't have much house music, but I have to say this is a nice variation. It's like a new-modern version of Megaman, know what I'm sayin'?

SHADOWFOX2 responds:

Megaman huh...
You should look up Remy Kafeene when you get the chance
That's the one time I tried to do something similar to Megaman and Kirby
Either way I'm glad you like, especially when you don't do too much House

Nice, man!

Sounds like a final boss theme to me! A mix between... Mario and Luigi superstar and Within Temptation

mr-vincent responds:

haha Inspired by DImmu Borgir, Thy Serpent & Shape of Despairs

SNES or GB?? That is the question

Sounds like street fighter

kcastle11 responds:

It has NES, SNES, and GB sounds. I'm not really particular to one or the other. But I'm glad you liked it.

Very beautiful

I love this... what a sad, yet beautiful song at the same time.

The reverb is pretty nice, and that's a nice piano tone. In fact, this reminds me of playing Tales of Symphonia.

Well done my friend

Isoken responds:

Thank you so much! I was hoping for a mixture between melancholic and lively sounds. I've never played Tales of Symphonia, but I have heard plenty of good reviews about the game. I think I may just give it a try.

I appreciate your review!

:]

Time Splitters... :P

What kind of keyboard are you using? This certainly has an "infected" feeling to it... lol

lidlurch responds:

lol, M-Audio Keystation 49e
